SenseIR: Keeping Cardiovascular Diseases at Bay

Aurore Vicet, a researcher at the University of Montpellier, has developed SenseIR, a cutting-edge technology that uses ultra-precise infrared lasers to detect early signs of cardiovascular disease in the air we exhale.

Born out of a collaboration betweenthe IES, Montpellier University Hospital, and the PhyMedExp and Idesp laboratories, this ambitious project could revolutionize medical diagnosis by enabling the rapid, noninvasive detection of heart disease from a simple breath sample.
