SenseIR: Keeping cardiovascular disease at bay

A researcher at the University of Montpellier, Aurore Vicet has developed SenseIR, a cutting-edge technology that uses ultra-precise infrared lasers to detect early signs of cardiovascular disease in the air we exhale.

Born out of a collaboration betweenIES, Montpellier University Hospital, PhyMedExp, and Idesp laboratories, this ambitious project could transform medical diagnosis by enabling rapid, non-invasive detection of heart disease from a simple breath test.
