Pheno-Recycle: Phenolic Resin Is Finally Recyclable

The result of a collaboration between researchers at the Charles Gerhardt Institute in Montpellier (ICGM) and the Saint-Gobain, the Phéno-recycle project has led to the development of innovative processes for recycling phenolic resin —one of the most resistant types of waste in the chemical industry, which until now was destined for incineration or landfilling.


Supported by the Montpellier University Innovation Cluster, this exemplary partnership is already proving to be a major scientific and environmental success.
