The University of Montpellier and Nîmes University Hospital have strengthened their joint dynamic
On September 2, the university hospital community of Nîmes gathered for an after-work event attended by Philippe Augé (University of Montpellier), Frédéric Rimattei (Nîmes University Hospital), and Michel Prudhomme (Nîmes University Hospital Medical Commission). The event highlighted the shared momentum in research and innovation, with the participation of Véronique Dominguez-Guillaumel, Vice President for Higher Education and Research.
Three projects supported by the University Innovation Hub (PUI) illustrated this synergy: PEASY (male incontinence), 3D4 PEDIA (3D pediatric pharmaceutical printing), and DM CONNECT (coordination of care pathways).
A call for projects entitled "Translational Research" has also been launched, with €100,000 in funding, to promote the transition from basic research to clinical applications.
For Philippe Augé, " this joint initiative illustrates our ambition: to build a center of excellence in healthcare at the European level."
